Colors are used like these :

Orange : Removes tiredness and loneliness. Instills happiness and self confidence within.

Purple : It instills good thought and fills the life with happiness. Controls anger and increases mental strength.

Everything has two aspects one spiritual and the other physical and to have an adequete discussion one should consider both these aspects. This similarly affects the vaastu also. Some important points related to vaastu

North-East, North and East

Offices facing east or north are considered good. The northeast portion of the house is the mouth of Vaastu purush hence it must be kept clean. Don't make your gate facing the gate of someone else. Keep the study table of children such that child faces the North or East direction. In respect of south-west wall the north east wall must be high and wide. Rain water must always move towards northeast or eastnorth. The more open north-east direction is lucky. Always make the basement in the north-east. Always keep important documents in the east direction. Wash-basin is good in the north. Place mirrors on the east and north wall of the house. Never construct kitchen or toilet in the north-east direction. Glow a green bulb in the north-east or east. Glow a blue bulb in the north. Place the picture of fountain in the north-east.

South-west, South and West

It is auspicious to open the face of a safe in the North or East direction. So it must be kept along the south or the west wall. Never make a septic tank, water tank, boring or basement in the south-west direction. Never make the south-east direction of the house higher than the south-west direction otherwise accidents related to fire and current may take place. Never buy a plot which is in the south-west direction to your house. The head of the house must choose his bedroom in the south-west direction. The more closed south-west direction is lucky. Put the pictures of ancestors on the wall of south-west not in the main passage. Light a red bulb in the south or south east. Glow a yellow bulb in the west. Place a picture of mountain in the south-west.

South-east

It is good to keep heater, press and inverter in the south-east direction.

Miscellaneous

There should not be a dustbin, telephone pole, electricity pole or a big stone in front of the main gate. Auspicious symbols must be made on the main gate. Never sit or sleep down the beam. Place a Tulsi (Basil) plant or Swetark or Orange tree on both sides of the main gate. Never make bathroom, kitchen or worship place below the stairs. Never place a water tank or do boring at the center of the house. Never construct stairs in the center of the house. Never make a toilet,kitchen and worship place adjoining eachother. A house having road on all the sides of the house make the owner of the house prosperous. Leaving the main gate a house should have even number of gates and same is for the windows. Wall clock must not be hung on the south wall Leaving the main gate all other gates must be at the same level. Put north-east direction the lowest, then next higher is north-west after it next higher is south-east and the highest is south-west. Do yagya daily in the hall and havan once in a year. Keep perfumed incense sticks lighted in the house. Never accumulate broken things in the house. Never place water near telephone because it is considered to be fiery. Never accumulate shoes below the bed and clean this place once in a week. If you are searching for your life partner then place your bed such that people con move on it from both the sides. Never make entrance of the plot and the entrance of the house in one line. House at the end of the lane is considered unlucky. Keep an open space at all sides of the house. Never construct a house in a triangular plot. Never keep bed, furniture, fridge, washing machine touching the wall. There should be a distance of 3 inch in between them. Construct wall over wall and doors above doors in a multi storied building. Never put cactus plant inside the house. The height of the house should be in decreasing order from south-west to north-east.

Japamala and their use

Rudraksh mala

 

It is considered best for doing Shiv pooja. A worshiper gets crores of times result on doing Japa on rudraksh mala than doing on Tulsi, Chandan, Gold, Pearl, Coral, etc.
